Product Warranty and Return Policy

1. Warranty Policy

We take pride in our merchandise and are committed to providing excellent customer service. Our warranty covers manufacturing defects and product faults within 14 days from the date of receipt. If an item is found to be faulty, damaged, or defective, customers may request a return for assessment.

1.1 Coverage and Limitations

✅ Covered under Warranty:

• Manufacturing defects
• Items damaged upon delivery (must be reported within 48 hours of receipt)
• Malfunctioning products due to factory errors

❌ Not Covered under Warranty:

• Normal wear and tear
• Accidental damage, misuse, or negligence
• Unauthorized modifications or repairs
• Failure to follow product care and maintenance instructions
• Cosmetic damage that does not affect functionality (subject to assessment)

 

1.2 Resolution Process

After evaluation, we will determine whether to:

• Repair the item (if feasible)
• Replace the item with the same or equivalent model
• Decline the claim if the issue is not covered under warranty

Regardless of the outcome, the customer must cover the return freight charge before the goods are shipped back. Payments must be completed within 14 days of our written confirmation.

2. Return Policy

Returns must be approved in advance, and any associated shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

2.1 Eligibility for Returns

A return will be accepted only if:

• The item is defective, faulty, or damaged
• The customer has reported the issue within 14 days of receiving the product
• The product is returned in its original condition, including packaging and accessories

 

2.2 Non-Returnable Items

A return will NOT be accepted for:

• Items with signs of wear, use, or damage caused by the customer
• Clearance or final sale items

 

3. How to Process a Warranty Claim or Return

To initiate a warranty claim or return, follow these steps:

Step 1: Inspect Your Product

• Upon receiving your order, check if the item functions as expected.
• If an issue is found, do not attempt to repair or modify the item.

Step 2: Contact Customer Support

• Send an email to sales@howardsilversandsons.com with the subject line: "Warranty Claim – [Order Number]"
• Include the following information:

o Order number
o Customer name and contact details
o Description of the issue
o A video demonstrating the issue
o A clear photo of the affected item and its specific defect area

Step 3: Return Approval & Shipping Instructions

• Our support team will review your claim within 3-5 business days and provide a response.
• If approved, you will receive return shipping instructions.
• Ship the item back using a trackable shipping service (customer covers return shipping costs).

Step 4: Evaluation & Resolution

• Once we receive the item, our team will inspect and test it within 7 business days.
• We will notify you via email about the outcome:

o If approved, we will repair or replace the item as applicable.
o If denied, we will return the product to you after receiving the return freight charge.

 

4. Additional Notes

• Manufacturing defects discovered after the warranty period may be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
• We reserve the right to refuse a return if the product does not meet our warranty and return criteria.
• Items that fail due to misuse or accidental damage will not be covered, but we may offer a repair service at an additional cost.
