P38 AUTOMATIC PISTOL, GERMANY 1938 - 24cm
The Denix Walter P.38 was developed between 1935 and 1937 in Germany. It is historically important because it was the most numerously produced German pistol during the Second World War. The pistol was a favourite amongst the German infantry. It was used in many major wars. The imitation has mechanical and moving parts but cannot be made to fire. The hammer cocks and releases in single trigger action in the case of the imitation pistol, but the magazine cannot be removed. This non-firing imitation is very authentic looking and makes a great theatre or re-enactment prop.
